BURNT BUILDING FACADE
BURNT FACADE MODEL
ELEVATION, AUTOCAD
This project, which was completed in the Langara Production Design program, began with two photographs of different streets in Gastown, Vancouver. Using photoshop, I added a facade into the alley between two buildings, then used various mixed media techniques to make it appear badly damaged by a fire. Next, I drafted an elevation of the facade in Autocad and created a model in 1/4” scale using foam core, balsa wood, and acrylic paint.

SEEDY HOTEL LOCATION PLANS
These two drafting projects were completed for Langara’s Production Design program, based on the script Eye Level. After scouting out a suitable seedy hotel location for a scene, I measured a room at the Astoria Hotel and photographed several reference photos. Then I drafted the plan and elevations, complete with furniture, window, and door details in Autocad.
BECK'S APARTMENT
This studio set was based on a rundown Vancouver apartment described in the script Eye Level. I designed it to have distinct spaces and numerous wild walls, then created a mockup using floorplans provided by Bridge Studios in Burnaby.
